Privacy Policy — LetterQuest

Last updated: September 18, 2026

LetterQuest (“the app”) is designed for children, and its privacy approach is simple: we do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, period.

What the app does with your data

Nothing leaves your device. Specifically:

Payments

LetterQuest offers optional alphabet packs (for example, Serbian Cyrillic) as one-time in-app purchases, on top of the free English alphabet. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit — LetterQuest and its developer never see, collect, or store your payment card details, billing address, or any other payment information. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device via the “Restore Purchases” option in the Alphabet Store. See Apple’s privacy policy for how Apple itself handles App Store payment data.

Children’s privacy

LetterQuest is designed for use by children and fully complies with the spirit of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple’s Kids Category requirements by design — not through consent management, but because the app has no mechanism to collect personal information from anyone, child or adult.

Camera, microphone, and other permissions

LetterQuest does not request access to the camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, location, or any other system permission. Drawing input is handled entirely through Apple’s PencilKit framework, which processes strokes locally on-device.

Changes to this policy

If LetterQuest’s data practices ever change, this policy will be updated before the change ships, along with the “Last updated” date above.
